Wow... so it's been a long time between posts. I'm working on getting Cosmic Warp improved and made into an iPhone app ASAP. I recently watched Indie Game: The Movie which I thoroughly enjoyed. This motivated me to finally download Super Meat Boy which I have really been enjoying when I get the chance. RageBot is coming along quite nicely, and I've been tinkering with it quite a lot lately. I've also fixed the downloads on the games page, so they should both work fine now.

I have been particularly productive over the last three weeks, mainly creating a game which was codenamed: "Robot Escape", but I've since settled with "Ragebot!".
It's a sidescrolling platformer with pixel grade sprites and retro sound effects for that nostalgic feeling. You play a robot whose goal is to traverse dangerous factory terrain, filled with moving platforms, deadly ninja stars and creepy enemy robots. The demo beta release is almost complete. I hope to use this beta demo to receive sponsorship from http://www.newgrounds.com to continue work on the game and hopefully earn some money for my time and hard work towards what I consider my best game yet.

Today, I have an underrated album for you. I picked up this album "In The Red" on January 28th, because I was thinking of "Blue Bishops" as a name for a band - as it turns out, after a quick google search, the band name was already taken and the band is actually really awesome! They only had 15 likes before I liked their facebook page and their album is seamless and exceptionally well produced. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes good old-fashioned rock and roll and would make a great driving soundtrack. Their official site is here where you can buy their album and you can 'like' them on facebook here which I encourage you to do if you like their stuff as they deserve the support.

Over the past six weeks, I've been writing a new corporate espionage/thriller novel, as well as playing various DJ gigs and I even managed to finish a prototype of a fun little game called, "Cosmic Warp" which can be downloaded here.

Merry Christmas! The good people at Metanet have released a special holiday gift in BETA form: N 2.0! It's available here for Mac and PC! Please read their blog post carefully which explains which things need to be fixed for proper releases. I'll have a little holiday gift of my own coming soon!

My mailing list subscribers got a dose of bonus content a few days ago. If you haven't already, please subscribe by clicking here. On Wednesday, I worked at the Geelong Cup for the second year running and it was an enjoyable afternoon. I am also continuing to rack up a steady stream of work with David Feldman. I've re-enrolled into my university course and produced a new remix. I've also designed and printed off some DJ business cards. I get the feeling the next couple of months are going to be insane!

Today was my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary! We celebrated their sixty years of marriage at Danny's Rusty Nail restaurant on Saturday with the extended family and had a terrific time.
I can't go any further without paying tribute to Steve Jobs, one of the most influential people of this generation, who undoubtedly played a significant role in the advancement of technology over the last few decades. Personally, I grew up with the Macintosh II and much later, the iPod shuffle, then the iPod classic (5th and 6th gen) and the iPod touch (amazingly, all of the aforementioned portable devices I managed to win one way or another!) and of course the iPhone 4; a remarkable device which I couldn't live without! None of these devices would exist without Steve and his company so thank you Apple and thank you Steve Jobs. Rest in Peace.

So after a crazy weekend of the Geelong Cats winning the AFL Grand Final for the third time in five years, our humble city burst into party mode once again.
More importantly, I was asked to work as an editor for the David Feldman Show with the first episode I edited called, TV's New Fall Season. For those of you that don't know, David is an established comedian in America having appeared frequently on Late Night with Conan O'Brien as well as writing for Roseanne, Dennis Miller Live, Real Time with Bill Maher, Stewart amongst others. I'll be getting paid to edit his round table episodes in the future and it's especially great to hear him react so happily to my hard work. Do yourself a favour and subscribe to his brilliant podcast for free using iTunes.
On the left is a nice picture as a reward for reading all that other stuff, and if you just skimmed through all the above text, shame on you! ;)
This vibrant photo taken by Geelong In Lux is of the Geelong Waterfront.
Lastly, the iPhone 5 is about to be revealed! I can't wait to see what's in store for the most hotly anticipated smart phone of the year!

I started up a Google+ account a few weeks ago, but am only just now starting to use it. You can find me here. I think the circles system is simple, yet intuitively brilliant. Meanwhile, I flew up to the Gold Coast for James' wedding and some IT work with Blair, another one of my cousins, which has been a good learning experience so far and a very enjoyable time.

Some new French House music for you DJs and funksters out there. I mashed this up last night and the night before. I call it Canned Heat In Funkytown. It's free to download. Also, it's my cousin, James' wedding this Saturday in Tweed Heads, NSW which should be a great time! Furthermore, I've done a little more work on the Maron game, and it's almost done (this time I mean it!). Peace.

Happy Father's Day!
The other day my Traktor Kontrol S4 arrived, and I'm pleased to say it works just as well as I hoped (actually, even better). I've listened through my headphones okay, but I'm yet to play music through a P.A. using the system, but once I find a converter, it should be all good!
Also, I dropped my iPhone in the toilet last week, and after a few days of drying it out, I took off the cover, went through a lengthy restoration process which was full of an assortment of errors, but after about 10 hours of jailbreaking, heart-aching, sunbaking, and hairdryer partaking, I eventually neutralised the water damage and repaired the device to its former glory and was, in the words of Calvin Harris; merrymaking! Needless to say, I'm going to be much more careful with my precious around liquid sources (and sauces) from now on ;)

Wow! What an insane month it has been! It's been a while since I blogged with my internet being down for a week which seemed to last an era and would've felt like an eon if not for the magic which is mobile internet.
1) Favourite free mixtape of the month: Here.
2) Awesome new DJ app for the iPhone/iPod touch: Here.
3) Marc Maron's new album "This Has To Be Funny" dropped which means editing the Marc Maron game to include the bizarre album cover of the aforementioned album.
4) Had a 50th DJ gig on the 13th of August which ended up being a good night with a blend of 70's and 80's tunes mixed in with some modern floor fillers. I guess now I need to design and make some business cards :P

Now for some more exciting music news! French producer and teen music prodigy Madeon who rose to fame by winning Pendulum's remix competition for their single "The Island" with a brilliantly funky take on Pendulum's D&B/Electro smash last year at only 16 years old has now produced a killer mashup featuring no less than 39 songs by various popular artists. It seems like Madeon is destined to follow in the footsteps of fellow legendary french house producers Justice and Daft Punk. The video can be seen here. Personally, I've been working on a mashup of my own including Champagne Showers by LMFAO and Don't Stop The Party by The Black Eyed Peas which I may release soon when it's finished.

I've just purchased some new DJ hardware from Traktor. I can't wait until it arrives!
Since I ordered in July, I also got a free scratch upgrade which I'm very excited about! If you have a party coming up and need a DJ - Hit me up!
I do all kinds of music and DJing is one of my passions so I'm very excited for the upcoming months. Take care, guys.

Hello humans and sentient robots from the future! I have two things I want to discuss this week which both happened on Sunday: #1: put together a 30 minute pop/house mix that you can download here. #2: As you may or may not know. I live in the heart of Geelong and am a diehard Essendon Bombers supporter. When the Cats (Geelong for non-AFL fans) were considered a shoe in with one gentleman even going as far as placing a $1 million bet on Geelong to win for only a return of $90,000 if they won, I must admit I didn't have a very optimistic state of mind. The match started off pretty bad for Bombers supporters; continuing a worrying trend, with Geelong booting the first three goals. Then it happened... after losing the last five matches in a row, we started playing like men again. We hit the lead and held it right up to the end when Geelong challenged us; getting within a goal until the final glorious siren rang out. I watched the last quarter at Beav's Bar with some other Essendon supporters and the surprising amount of Bombers supporters jumped with joy. So yes, it was an awesome way to cap off the week and I hope your week was as enjoyable as mine!

Marc Maron: The Game is almost complete! I've been designing the final boss level using Photoshop starring a South Parkesque Carlos Mencia as the villain. Keep your eyes out!

Great news! I just bought myself a new ACER laptop with Intel Core i5, HD Radeon graphics and sizeable 750GB HDD which I'll be using to handle all my multimedia needs once I've finished transferring all my data and software. Yeah!

Three things today... Firstly, Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers! Secondly, amongst a plethora of minor tweaks, I added a comment botton on the left which anchors the page to the bottom of each page to enable faster comment entry with special thanks to _Aerospace_Eng_ for his help on the matter. Finally, an excellent remake of an old RPG called "GangWars" that I played on our old Mac back back in the day. The remake is called "NitsLoch" by ddwatts and jon_irons and you can download it for free and wait for it... in colour right here! Support for a mailing list for this site is coming soon so you'll never miss an update!

I'm going to try and blog more regularly now, like every day or 3. If you like the musician Adele, you will enjoy this mashup by a friend and one of my favourite DJ's: Steve Camp. It's going to be a huge day tomorrow, starting off with a couple junior Aussie Rules Football games to umpire, a school fete, and finally working at Beav's Bar.

So it's been a while since I last blogged... I've been busy with my 21st birthday party, my mum's 50th birthday party, podcast editing, working and trying to finish the Marc Maron game. I've almost finished the game, but I still need to figure out how the final level boss was going to have to be defeated by Marc (incidentally, the boss is Carlos Mencia). I couldn't remember his name at the time, so I just typed "joke stealer" into Google images, and his face was the first result. Mencia will be flying around haphazardly in a flying saucer and I also need to decide what weapons he will be using against Marc. Also, a very special thanks again to Graham Boyd from www.xpose.com.au for his help with some CSS coding. This guy really knows his stuff and highly recommend him and his business!

Looking for a nice new bangin' tech trance tune to listen to? Steve Camp brings his A game with this incredible remix of Daisy. Please take 3 seconds to hit "Support Steve" on the right of the page to help him win the remix competition.

I just made another Jamiroquai remix. This time for a song from their latest album. It's called "Hang It Over". You can listen to it and download it for free here.

A couple of nights ago on Saturday, I DJ'd my first paid gig just outside of Melbourne; a 100 minute drive and was reimbursed somewhat for petrol which was nice. It was a 21st party and it went down really well and I'm glad I was able to guage the beach/summer vibe theme and also mix in some floor fillers including some remixes of my own. I enjoyed it so much I did an extra hour for free, before driving dreary eyed back to Geelong. By time I packed in all the DJ equipment and crawled into bed it was about 5:30 a.m.
On a web site note: tomorrow, I'm going to try and implement some code that Graham Boyd sent me in order to resolve some minor graphical issues with the site.
Hey, I've just come back from a relaxing trip on the Gold Coast and on a houseboat on the Tweed River. Again, It seems I forgot to update the download link, since I added a new file, hopefully the game will run properly now!
So I had a glitch where the links on this page stopped working properly...
I realised I had inadvertantly created the glitch while trying to patch another graphical glitch! Anyway, hopefully it's fixed now even if the graphical glitch of the sidebar may be present in some browsers... I will hopefully have that minor problem resolved soon!
Awesome! I Just got a very big plug from the lads over at the 3 Wise Woodies podcast in America. And, true to my word, I have plugged them back... so to speak. So if you're over 18 and love crude, below the belt humour, check them out on iTunes, you won't be disappointed...
Just updated the donate and download buttons as well as centering some text etc. ISN'T THAT AMAZING!? No? Yeah, you're probably right. Also, I am hoping to meet with a contact who is an iPhone app developer and see if we can get the game ported to iPhone! Also, I talked with a teacher called "Justine" who is interested in getting some Australian based eductional games developed. I am happy to create games by request and am willing to negotiate pricing. Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Happy new year everyone! My new year's resolution is to make Ultimate Drinking Wheel free to download! That's right, UDW is now 100% free to download on PC. Just click here or click spin in the left side bar.
Wow! Took a few weeks off from blogging to finish off my Ultimate Drinking Wheel. It's in 1.5 beta stage and is available for download for only AUD $1 on Windows only. All purchasers will be able to receive a lifetime of free upgrades by using their PayPal email address, or other email which can be listed in the payment comments. Thanks very much for all your support and thanks for the donations. They are very helpful and every bit counts and helps me focus on making more quality games!
Thanks Ale, AKA kryX-orange for testing my game. I've just compiled a 13 minute 2010 mashup megamix which can be downloaded for free here.
Fixed site compatability issues with IE and Firefox.
I just did a site redesign. Tell me what you guys think!
Added the new comment section below courtesy of www.disqus.com
try it out!
So I was busy yesterday, but I found avery nice game called flipside which I actually found on accident.
*royalty free sound credit* used in my games. Going to get some bartending practise tonight, alright!
Worked on Ultimate Drinking Wheel a lot more tonight, mostly behind the scenes stuff rather than cosmetic changes. Plus, I have almost finished watching the third season of Breaking Bad; what an awesome TV show that is! Lastly, (I think) I managed to solve a problem that was causing this web site not to load sometimes which I figured had something to do not deleting the old nameservers. Anyway, now I just need to get my party animal mates around so I can record some more sounds for the drinking game! Woo! Exciting times!
I had a very constructive day today... I worked a lot on getting some nice glossy graphics on the Magic 7's mini-game for the Ultimate Drinking Wheel and added some more sound effects. I've always loved the minimalism and enticement that glossy buttons and graphics exude. I am hopeful that it can be completed before the weekend but I'm making sure I don't rush or cut corners on the project.
Saturday. Doing some more work for Beav's tonight. I've been listening to some dubstep and WTF with Marc Maron while I work. I am also going to edit the Metanet Podcast over the next couple of days. Had some more people try out my Ultimate Drinking Wheel which is almost completed; just need to improve some graphics and am considering implementing a lifeline system for each player.
Long story short, I got home really exhausted today and slept for a few hours when I got home so apart from this blog update I haven't done anything today. Got another email from comedian Marc Maron who really digs my game I made about him. I expect is to be completed and released within 2 weeks. To contact me, hit up email@example.com.
So it's day 2 and today I'm working on making some nice black, glossy buttons as well as a 'donate' button for the site using Adobe Illustrator and am drafting some logo ideas as well as implementing a linking button for my games which will link to euphoricgames.net. Tomorrow, I am cleaning and setting up some computers at Geelong Lutheran College before I'll resume work on the Marc Maron game as well as putting linked up buttons in the site menu that actually function and provide contact details too. Also, I just spent like over an hour trying to figure out why when I hovered my mouse over the links the font looked bigger, after a lot of fiddling I eventually figured out that I had accidentally added a different font family to the CSS. Woops! Anyway, it's fixed now, time to get some sleep...

Today my site went live! I'm very excited and can't wait to expand my empire, hehe. Special thanks to Jack Simic from www.jackswine.com.au for allowing me to use his server space for my domain. I will upload some games that I've made soon. To whet your appetite; here is a game I found today thanks to some Metanet members called Farragomate, an addictive multiplayer fridge magnet maneuvering game.
